Balanced Health and Fitness was founded on the truth that each of us has the privilege and the responsibility of molding and shaping our current state of health. Although genetics plays a significant role in determining our relative health, for most of us, our behavior choices are far better predictors of heath and wellness than our parents.

This arm of Balanced Health and Fitness is dedicated to teaching and reinforcing the most integrated, effective and comprehensive physical fitness strategies. People of all ages, abilities, shapes and backgrounds come to this “school” with one common goal: to improve the quality of their life.

A Wellness Inventory which includes:
- Health history
- General fitness assessment

- Detailed exercise prescription which includes:
- Aerobic fitness
- Resistance/weight training
- Flexibility/stability
- Sound, science based, nutritional guidance
- Accountability plan
The Delivery
Sessions are typically done in Balanced Health and Fitness boutique style training studio located across from The Mission Bay Park Visitor’s Center. In addition to our state of the art fitness studio, outdoor training is commonly utilized for variety, training stimulus, and just for fun.
Walks, light jogging and callisthenic routines up and around the rolling hills of Bay Park are quite common for some clients.
For those who love the salty air, beach cruisers are utilized to access beautiful Mission Bay Park (less than a half mile away).
